Hi, I’m Nik Dirga. I’m an American who moved to New Zealand in 2006. I’ve got more than 30 years of journalism experience, worked for publications in California, New York, Mississippi and Oregon and won multiple awards for my reporting and essays. My work has been published by Radio New Zealand, The New Zealand Listener, the New Zealand Herald, the Australian Associated Press, The Spinoff and much more.
