Hi, my name is Nik Dirga and this is my blog and writing home on the internet. I’m an American journalist who grew up in California and went to college in Mississippi. My family and I emigrated to New Zealand in 2006.
I’m an editor and freelance writer whose work has been published at Radio New Zealand, The New Zealand Listener, Stuff, New Zealand Herald, Australian Associated Press, The Spinoff and more.
I am also the creator of the small-press comic book Amoeba Adventures which I have been drawing in some form or another since 1986. You can find free PDFs of pretty much the entire series elsewhere right on this very site!
